2. Rich Jones 3. John Lechner Sloe under track record during qualifying being the first AS breaking the 100 mph average speed barrier. One tenth shy of track record during the race. Car ran great and Sloe had a good lead until the clutch went. Jones caught up to him 2/3's through the race only to spin. Jones got back on track, regrouped and caught up to Sloe to make for a close finish.
