VIR April 14-17
If you are an American Sedan Driver, you should sign up for VIR Double.. we are currently at 7 drivers with at least three more expected to come!

Super Tour
The April 17 race is included in the BF Goodrich Super Tour. I just ran the one at Hallet, yesterday. This is a new deal, and isn't really going full steam yet, but it is pretty cool. BF Goodrich Tire Company is spending some money on this program, and it reminds me of the National races of the old days. They had live timing on the web. They also had news releases to the SCCA site about qualifying and the race. This does not usually happen. My sponsors were named in all of the releases.
After the race there was an awards presentation (like at the Runoffs), with champaign and a real checkered flag (with the event printed on it). This is going to be really good for us. I really wish I could make the race at VIR. I will do a couple more of these BF Goodrich Super Tour events, before the season is over. Notice, I include BF Goodrich in the description? Usually I would just say I ran the Hallett race, but if they are going to spend the money, with us, I'm going to mention BF Goodrich every chance I get. Have fun. Wish I could be there to represent the senior sector. wheel

I committed to instructing for the double school/double regional at MAM that weekend. I might take the SM up and run it, but I have to instruct and do a couple of annual inspections for new guys.
