Have you heard if SCCA will use it? It seems like something they added for drifting or GRX. Looks tight for road racing.

Im not sure if were going to race on it, but the race in april they did a charity drive around and the transition onto the oval was very abrupt also more tire barriers would have to be added but i was told their going to try and use it, also their going to try and do the track in reverse

Here is the satellite image from Google, very tight. Also are the images of Hastings (which I think is pretty tight already) and Sears Point all at the same scale. The go-cart track looks just as open, lol.

At Gateway, does Nascar turn 4 still have that dip on exit that unloads the car? Not sure I'd really want to go into Nascar 4 reverse direction at the kind of speeds you would be attaining with a dip unloading the car on entry to the banking. Might consult Hoosier if the tires can handle that kind of load. Sounds sketchy

Turn 4 at gateway still has a little dip but not much after they repaved the oval for indycar
