Pulled out of the Cat. Motor got tired, need to put in the new one and experiment with front camber a bit.
Will run the Kettle double regional as a test weekend and tune up for the big show. |

Well the best I can say about the CAT is it is over. Several of us hard hard times in AS. I don't know what happened today to Andy other than when watching the laps program on lap 7 he stopped. Nor do I know what happened to Philip yesterday. I heard Chris Pedersen went though at 2 clutches. For me on lap 5 of Race 1 my panhard bar mount broke. I did go back out and limp around for one more lap so I could get a finish. In the end I'm going to come up short by 1 race to make the Runoffs without enough time or budget to get the car fixed.

Cheyene,
Are you coming to St. Louis? p.s., I understand Andy lost a tire. |

I'm trying to come down to St. Louis. I need to figure out what we need to do to fix the car and who can do it today. The bad is I'm working double shifts this week to earn extra money for the Runoffs so my time is very limited.

Andy exploded his left front rotor Sunday; that cut his tire down. I didn't look at official times, but was told he ran a 2:26.1 Sat, which is flat out haulin' ass... Ed's car looked really hooked up through the turns. Chris vaporized 2 clutch disks... Not sure what happened to Scott or some of the others... The weather sucked... 59, cloudy, blowing and started raining sideways Sunday.

We had a left ball joint start to come a part in the carousel on lap 1 which made for some spooky handling. It was a nice weekend and we learned what we needed to learn to help prep for the Runoffs. I didn't mind the cold. It made my engine pull like a freight train and kept the temps nice and low.
The Runoffs is going to be awesome with the deep field we have. The guys up front are really pushing the development and it shows in the lap times. It's pretty darn impressive given what we have to work with. See you in September!
