Default Topeka

We had two great races last weekend. Had four entries since Jim W. couldn't make it. On Sat. Tim W. was out front for awhile but had a problem. So Kim, Andy and I battled tooth and nail for the win. You could have thrown a blanket over all 3 for the whole race. We swapped places every couple of laps. Andy S. ended up with the win and I got second. I didn't have a camera and Andy's didn't work

Sunday was real wet in the morning and lightning forced quali to be cancelled. Our race was wet but drying. It was still fun and Tim won and I got second again. I was real timid on the first couple laps as I watched others spin, but doing so let Tim get way out in front. Andy and I battled for second again.

It was the best weekend I've had in a while and best yet in AS. I really do like Topeka. Gateway is next for me.

I have some rewiring work to do, a short in something not important should not blow the fuse that powers the ignition. Luckily I was able to get to pit lane and quickly diagnose the problem, getting those last three laps in allowed me to get a finish. Congrats to Andy for the win on Saturday and to Curt for the two seconds. A wet weekend but a fun one.

saturdays race was the best race ive ever had, bumper to bumper the whole race with kim and curt. sunday was wet and i spun on the 2nd lap and curt passed me, i was able to recover and catch back up but was unable to make a pass. just glad i finally had a weekend with no problems. unfortunately kim was having transmission issuses and wasnt able to make sundays race which sucks because it was his last race. again i would thank kim for all the great racing and help throughout the years.
