2019 Runoffs at VIR
Since things have been quiet here on the forum, I thought that I would kick off a Runoffs thread with a copy of the current entry list as shown on the SCCA website. Good luck to all!

There are quite a few really strong car/driver combos on this list. Hopefully, everyone will have fun, safe weekend. I'm looking forward to having a fun time learning a new track. I didn't buy a test day, so I will have to learn the track on the track walks on Sunday and Monday night. At least we can do it in our golf cart. (For the high cost of entry, I think the SCCA should have a free practice day on Monday, like we had in the past). The entry costs have gone up and the SCCA has taken away part of what was always included.

Thanks. Should be fun and good to see lots of old friends. This is my first Runoffs (in 10 years) as a civilian and not the Chairman of the CRB. I won't have to go to impound for multiple infractions in other classes. I won't be on call 24/7 for the CRB view on the GCR and rule interpretation. I will say that I will miss some of that, but not all. It was always a pleasure working with the great scrutineers in impound and with the Stewards. That part I will miss. I made some good friends over the decade, and I hope that continues.

McDermid was better in testing. He got going today but still isn't at full speed. I imagine he will do well in the race. He would still be my pick.
SMG comment was tongue in cheek. The SMG should be at least as fast as the T3 V8 Mustang on T3 pole with a 2:04:9. Sadly it is only in the 2:08 range.
