2019 Runoffs at VIR

I was sorry to see Danny on the side of the track on the first lap. He had been very fast all week, nailing provisional pole on Wednesday. Shit happens. I spent more time off road than all of my previous 21 Runoffs combined. I had a Dirtfish logo on the fender, which was appropriate.

Congrats to Greg Eaton on his Runoffs victory. He was fast and didn't put a wheel off all week. VIR is a beautiful track with some unique corners, which the locals showed during the week how to get around and it showed in the race results.

We hope that Amy Aquilante is recovering well from her accident, she had a hard hit at the end of the back straight, with what we presume was a brake failure, which was a shame because she had a really good race going up to that point. Our in car video showed a wild ride, and heads up driving by both Amy and Bryan to avoid a worse outcome.

Finally had a chance to clean my radiator and car, might have to send VIR a bill for cutting their grass also may have been from following jim wheelers lawn mower.
