You cannot run the Ford 9" in restricted prep. The brakes are allowed with the smaller wheels and you would not have to run a fuel cell.

I do show the ZL1 to be different and much more $$$ but what I am saying is that the 1LE does not show to use the ZL1 diff housing but rather the same as reg SS.

One thing that comes to mind is brakes. What are you planning? The 1LE brakes would not be allowed with wheels larger than 17x8.

Seam welding is permitted now.

If your switch is reachable while running you could just pick a spot or two to turn it on then back off for a few laps. That's what I did before getting the actual timer thingy and it convinced me...

Obviously we do not have solid data to backup or argue your point. Maybe lap times but that is not very conclusive....
