Five Star can ship the 1/8" by UPS but the 3/16" must come by truck. So there is a huge difference in cost.

Make sure you reinforce all the welds. I used to wrap a piece or 1/4" rod around the shaft and weld to both sides of the arms. I would also put a small diagonal brace to each arm.
