Happy New Year Jim and to all. I hope everybody got the parts they wished for this Christmas and are well on the way to getting their car ready for another fun season. Whoomah!

Found my right front strut blew out at some point, which would explain my handling problems at the Runoffs. Andy McDermid is joining up with some shock folks, so all my stuff is going to them in the next few weeks. The Muncie also stripped off all the gears on the 3rd gear side on the next to last lap, so a tranny change is underway. Other than that, and an exhaust system flattened by the spins, I'm good to go.

For me it was the left strut, there was no gas in the strut. As I was putting the struts back in, actually the springs, I discovered the sway bar arm on the left side was stripped. I was lifting the control arm on one side expecting the other side to raise, it didn't move. So much for having paint marks on the sway bar and arm, the lines were always lined up in a resting position, either on the ground or on jack stands. How was I able to drive the car with no sway bar and a bad strut. Anyway, just about have that finished up. A little plug for the place that rebuilt the struts, Mike Goldfuss at Goldfuss Racing and Fab in Dwight, Nebraska. Look him up on Facebook, he knows his shocks and struts.

Little late but happy new year, i have a few things to fix from VIR, my exhaust that dropped 3/4 of the way through the race, my front splitter that didnt like going off road but mainly hoping to keep updating my car and trim some weight to meet my minimum weight, also fix my valve cover breathers leaking oil hopefully that should be easy after i looked at jims car. Other than that just waiting for hallet to start racing.
