I wondered where you were. Sorry for you problem, but you didn't miss a thing on the race track. Be sure to drop a note to crbscca.com and tell them you support the transmission rule.

Sorry to hear about you rotten weekend. We were heading to RA on Tuesday morning at 4:30am and the trans in the tow vehicle broke at 5am. Spent the next 24 hours trying to get a fix, but no luck. Its a real pisser that we had the unit replaced that weekend with a factory remanufactured unit and it failed out of the box. So much for a $3500 quick fix.

Wish I could have been there for the CRB stuff. I actually have the GT-4 trans in the car and was scheduled to test it on the Thursday test day. Its real smooth and worked well on the chassis dyno.

Wheeler, should I buy the Edelbrock heads assembled, or bare? Have the valve seat issues been resolved? Ready to assemble a 305, just don't want to fight problems.
    Thanks.

The Hero Go Pro, advertised on the back of this month's SportsCar, seems to get favorable reviews from the SM crowd. I know some T1 racers that use and like them, but I have no direct experience with them.

    Paul,
For the $85 it cost, ($195 retail) it is a hell of a little camera. They, of course, have newer models for a little more money. The specmiata.com site has some pretty extensive threads on video cameras. Mine is the Aiptek Action HD. www.aiptek.com

Jim back in 08 i think you purchased a video camera from walmart. My question: was it what you expected?
and would you buy another? or do you have any input on whats better . Paul Meier
