Was Andy in a new '06 Mustang? How did it look? Apparently it's sorted out already. Thx.

Paint Scheme Is The Same As The Old Car, But It Looks Very Good, It Is Pretty Well Sorted From What I Saw As He Went By Me , Lol. :d

Is that the same Martin Shook, who finished second, that I used to race against in the original Trans-Am series? Is that old geezer still racing after all these years? If so, a tip of the hat to him. (Wonder if he still has his old camaro?)

If any of you know him personally, you can convey my greetings to him.

Well I guess all of the questions about how long it would take Andy to sort out his car are answered. Sub 40's on the long course is flying...........

What happened to Jeff Robbins, I see he is not listed and he went out Saturday morning to qualify. We left by 9:45, due to Steve blowing a head gasket and overheatiing problems.

I had cluch problems on my out lap and brought it in. We found a cracked bell housing which ended my weekend with the mustang. I ended up running my T1 car from the back. We ended up second in T1 and set the fastest lap of the race .200 off of JHs track record. It was a great race with lots of courtesy given by the AS guys. Thanks to all the AS guys who gave me plenty of room even though they were racing for position.

Kevin L I really wanted to come over and meet you but we were pretty busy all weekend. Hope to catch you at the next race.

Small turn out.
You have always been one of the few that regularly came from out of division, but I expect that this is a reflection of how it will be for a while. You won't see 20 car AS fields there anymore. Kinda to be expected with M.O. not hosting the Runoffs.

Sad really. But probably just the way M.O. wants it.

I'm sure there will be record turn outs in Topeka for National races mid season, just a sign o' the times. I'm sure that there will be a 14-15 car field there so people can run the runoffs course.

Should be a ball for the Midwest guys. Same luxury the CenDiv used to have.

Its me and I'm still racing. Mustangs now, and my old Camaro is long gone. If you care to, you can contact me directly at mshook@racercpa.com.
What are you doing now?

WOW!!! Andy in the 39's on the long course. That's pretty close to a track record, isn't it? As far as AS fields at MO, I would have been there for sure this past weekend, but my daughter was confirmed into our church which led to the evil eye from my wife and her when I mentioned racing that weekend. Needless to say, I agree that HPT will get all the out of region entries from now on. I see what happened to Steve's DNS, but what happened to Ken and Vincent? Jeff, great run in the T1 car, sounds fun! Hope to see everyone out at the June Sprints if I can get someone to go out with me on the loooooooonnnnnnnng road trip. If not, I'll be at IRP in July, any takers?

My breakage is still being investigated. The new car was running good. I know the good old T5 broke on me but I am looking at more problems in the motor maybe. I will know for sure tomorrow. I hope to be back together for IRP since its in the backyard.

According to the people paddocked next door, they had to call in a beekeeper to clear them all out.
