Two AS cars took the green on Sunday
Bill Shepergerdes 1.09.711 which is really fast.
John Blizzard 1.11.264

I usually run this race, but didn't make it this year. Kyle Watkins was there, but ran a Spec Miata.

Monday's race
John Blizzard 1.09.82
Bill 1.10.44

For some reason there has been a little bit of an ass kicking contest between the Willwood/Precision camp and the Brakeman camp. You have seen some of the slamming on this site. It has come to somewhat of a head in Brakeman's advertising on their web site.

On our site (see previous post) I put down the results of the first national races of '06. Granted, there was a race in December that scores as an '06 race, but the Jan double at Phoenix were the first national races with ASedan finishers.

Despite Brakeman's claim, Bill Shepergerdes won the first race of 2006, on Sunday. He did it using the old PBR brakes, since his Precision kit did not arrive in time. John Blizzard won the second race, on Monday.
Bill's fastest lap was 1:09.71 (Sunday) and John's was 1.09.82 (Monday).
Those are the facts.

When is the next double anyways? BTW Jim do you have some type of race schedule I can view or perhaps a link to it? We would like to begin looking at the Contingency offers.

Thanks

schedules vary from region to region.

Is the schedule posted for each region somewhere? I guess this is the real question?

Laramie, the following link takes you to the main calendar for the SoPac region of SCCA. You have to kind of pick your way through it to find the various Regional and National races. The tracks in the SoPac region extend as far east as Phoenix and as far north as Buttonwillow (near Bakersfield). Mainly all southern CA tracks and a couple in AZ.

Warning: until Jorge gets his car done the fields aren't very big in this region
