Seeing that the SCCA does not want the 350 cu in engine in nationals,is there anybody interested in the engine that took second at the runoffs?(for a few minites at least) The gasket problem was a boneheaded move that was unfortunate. email johnhpayne53@gmail.com offers? This will be very low maintainance and is very very stout !

Why Doesn't SCCA want the 350? I wouldn't call the 2nd place finisher a regional motor... For an unsorted effort I was very impressed. I say unsorted because I thought you guys had major changes every session to handle, at the runoffs.

As was discussed at various times, the ASAC just isn't going to allow the 350 to kick everyone's ass, right out of the box. The Payne/Curran effort was one of the very few 350 cars running. Until there is some history, I doubt any changes will be made in weight. Obviously, if it can finish 2nd, it isn't a regional motor.

Maybe I should put it in my car. That 350 pulled my 305 going up the hill but I ate him up under braking!
