David Venhaus 1:35.5
Mark Muddiman 1:37.8
Fred Hetherwick 1:37.2
David Ours (DNF) 1:38.0
Venhaus made a great move into 1 on the start, moving from 4th to 1st, while Hynes got shuffled back to 4th.
Steve ran us all down one-by-one, catching David about 1/2 way, then cruised to an easy win.
Ours disappeared from my mirrors - I don't know why but he went straight off going into turn 5.
It looked like Fred ran out of tires a couple of laps too early, so I inherited 3rd.

Mark,
Thanks for the report. I know what most guys are driving, but not sure about some. What was everyone in?

All Mustangs . 2 SN95s, Mark's Fox and my 2005.
I was actually having problems with the shifter in my car and the way I was geared, I was making 5 down shifts a lap. It finally got so bad I missed 2nd a couple of times and really cooked my tires. So the tires did enter in.

The times look about the same, was the new configuration used?

Mark,
We followed you across 43 and saw some smoke from your right side trailer wheel area. Tride to flash lights at you, but you were too fast, like on the track.
BTW My engine gave it up big trying to chase you down so I drove off into the grass, had to go straight, could not see a thing for all the smoke! Time for a new one!

No. Apparently SCCA needs to send someone to approve the new configuration and it hasn't been done yet.

Dave, Felice Engines in Ionia! Won't find better people or better engine builders. (616)527-3227 Since we started using their engines our life has gotten much easier.

Thanks for the head's-up.
The trailer is starting to be more work than the Mustang.
Must be bearings and/or seals this time - all the tires still have air in them. I had 1 flat on the way to Nelson's and a 2nd on the way back.
I was wondering if you were having motor or gear issues as you were not able to accelerate down the back straight with me (everybody pulls me on the straights).
Sounds like big $$$ time.
