Folks, I had to use muraitic acid to get the cement off of my car after the rain race! Pool cleaner acid worked, nothing else wood touch it! FYI! I guess that stuff they were throwing on the new pavement all weekend was protland cement, so clean it like is is a cement truck.

I just used soap and a sponge, but it did require a scrub - wouldn't just hose off.
There's no clearcoat on my paint - just rattle-can Rustoleum black.

I'll second Marks comment came clean with car wash soap and a sponge. Did the same in the engine compartment, with a sponge and soft paint brush to get in the hard to get places.

A sponge with a little acid and off it came. You guys were just too far ahead of the pack, guess I was back with all the ick!

After reading Dwaine's thread about the radiator, it sounds like a good idea to pressure-wash the oil cooler and radiator.
No telling how much of that cement-like crap is clogging the fins.
